Flexible and Secure

Reliable systems and a wide range of security measures ensure a high degree of availability of our FTP servers.

RAID 10

Our storage servers use hardware RAID 10, unlike many other providers who use software RAID or other RAID configurations such as RAID 6, 60, 5, 50, or sometimes no RAID at all. We choose RAID 10 because it offers an optimal balance of performance and reliability, without the need for parity calculations that can strain an array during a drive rebuild. Although RAID 10 results in a slight reduction in capacity, we believe this minor drawback is outweighed by the increased reliability.

RELIABLE STORAGE

Everyone has data they can’t afford to lose. Whether it’s irreplaceable photos, important documents, or business records, losing such data would be devastating. Many people use NAS (Network Attached Storage) devices, like those from QNAP or Synology, at home or in the office to centrally store their critical content. However, if the system fails due to incidents like water damage, fire, or a power surge, the data might be lost forever.

The best solution is an “offsite backup”. This method involves synchronizing the data to an external storage device located offsite. The data is transferred via resync over a securely encrypted SSH (Secure Shell) connection. Our FTP servers are perfectly suited to provide additional protection against data loss for your systems.

  • Transfer via resync and SSH
  • Transfer your NAS to us for offsite backup
  • Use the FTP server as a secure external storage location
